The Morning Aftersome sort of cocktail laced nightmare unfolds in
velvetine darkness, embracing me in it's exotic haze
through which all eyes are open and all paths are
clear through until the unwanted morrow

when and then will my mascara congeal into
thick globs of pondering why i ever chose this
particular brand and so i am stuck in place unable
to want or wish to move, content in my unhappiness

but then

reality is intruding at the count of three and globby
eyes are closed hoping that the sunlight might just
go away and find my soul awake another day but
alas, my toes are frozen with regret and my head

pounds with an unforgivable resolve that t

Undocumented Until Nowsometimes when the house is quiet
with sleep, and heavy with darkness -

i feel more alive when i hear my father
snoring, and my mother scolding my
sister, for staying awake past midnight.

before silence finds it's reign, in the hum
of my computer and the whisper of my
dreams, as they find a space before
my eyes, in words that trickle through
my ears and into shaded night.

which is inspiration so bright, for me
and mine.

and i know you're out there watching
the skies, and so i am not alone -

Hatching Danger.
The First Awakening of a Dragon.

I really enjoyed creating this, I may play around more with the original drawing and attempt a background on it too! The sketch started off as an attempt at drawing a cracked egg shell and evolved from there. I really enjoy drawing dragons and this particular dragon was a lot of fun and a lot of detail to draw! Comments and critique are very welcome, I'd love to hear what you Gentlefolk think.

Oh yeah, after I threw out the egg I'd been working on for two hours and finished it in ten minutes I enjoyed it

But nah, it was so much fun to draw the dragon

Torture from the sense that I'd finished the dragon and wanted an egg quickly which so didn't happen until I completely started over again and got it in one

wowza! the detail on the dragon is insane! the egg shell texture is really good, whatever you've done it looks quite realistic! it also looks 3D on my screen
