Artist's Comments

This is the Lady Knight Keladry from Tamora Pierce's book series "Protector of the Small".

The original artist :iconmaseiya: gave me permission to colour and use this artwork. ^_^ I quite like how it turned out :p I may even try colouring it in photoshop at some stage *shrugs* who knows.

But in *Maseiya's words when she originally submitted this artwork:

"Kel's a young lady with broad shoulders and small breasts... so she might look really boyish here, but that's on purpose xD;; And that's her glaive she's holding (her favorite weapon--and she rocks with it)."

This is my favourite representation of Kel as a character, so go Maseiya!!!!

It was a fabulous sketch to begin with sweetie ^_^ I'm just happy it turned out reasonably okay :P I myself was quite happy with the colours once I realized that darkening the shirt and background made her stand out more. ^_^
